Let’s play, name the mayors!

Wednesday night at the annual Newport Beach “Mayor’s Dinner” several of the city’s past mayors were called up on stage, so I took a picture.

I thought it might be funny to do a little contest. Here’s how it works: The first person to post the correct names of the mayors on this post’s comment thread wins.

Wins what, you ask?

Ace Newport Beach reporter Brianna Bailey says I ought to give away one of the presidential inauguration chocolates I received on my recent trip to DC to cover the swearing-in. They were giving them away at the Westin hotel where I was staying. She seems to think it would fetch a good price on e-Bay. I think she’s crazy. But that’s like the pot calling the kettle black. Anyway, have at it, dear readers…

Are you going to count only those with “full frontal” visibility, or are you including those four mostly hidden behind others, too? I wonder, for example, who’s wearing the plaid pants behind Rosansky?

C’mon, the guy with the funny pants behind Rosansky’s the easiest one! Take your best shot, Geoff.

Of course, that would be Walkin’ Don Webb! :-)

These are the ones I can recognize:
    Ed Selich
    Jan Debay
    Steve Bromberg
    Evelyn Hart
    Steve Rosansky
    Tod Ridgeway

You can leave the chocolate on my desk.
